Join the IAP

The Institution of Analysts & Programmers is Britain’s leading professional organisation for people who work in the development, installation and testing of business systems and computer software. The IAP has high standards, but if you have the right skills and experience it is easy to join.

Our members form a network of enterprising and talented IT professionals who work in all areas of business, industry and the public sector. Many IAP members are employed in key posts, others have their own businesses or work as freelance consultants. When you join the IAP you will gain access to their combined wealth of experience and knowledge.

The IAP welcome new members. To join, please complete one of the Application Forms below – either the standard or student form. We evaluate applications using a points system. We award points for qualifications, technical training and work experience so please give us all the information we might need to consider your application. We will acknowledge your application once received and you will be invited to send us your CV.
